Saffire connection problems with the new Mac range

If you are experiencing connection difficulties running a Saffire (Saffire, Saffire LE, Saffire Pro, Liquid Saffire) on one of the new range of Macs (iMac, Mac Pro, Macbook Pro) with firewire 800 only, we recommend the following firewire 400 - 800 adapter which we have found to work well.

FIREWIRE 400 - 800 ADAPTER



Important: A lot of customers have reported problems with the LaCie flat firewire 400 to 800 cables. These should be avoided when possible and the issues can be resolved by using the Sonnet adapter as above.
