Faders are moving on their own when using fader automation in Pro Tools

If the faders on your Control 2802 are moving on their own, being moved by another fader or continue to move after a sudden fader movement when using fader automation in Pro Tools you should switch off MIDI thru in Pro Tools as these issues are caused by unwanted MIDI feedback.

In Pro Tools select the Options menu at the top of the screen and make sure that 'MIDI Thru' is unticked.

If you continue to experience problems please contact support using the button at the top right of this page.
