What is the phase meter for on the MixMaster?

The phase meter shows you the phase relationship between the left and right channels. For signals panned centre (mono compatible) this should be 0 so if you are a broadcaster and are engineering a show for AM broadcast you will want to keep the phase meter at 0 so that the mix will translate to mono well. Click here to check out an article with a bit more info on phase meters.
