I can hear software outputs 1 and 2 on other outputs.

Above the input, S/W mix slider for outputs 3+4, is a switch for either 1/2 or 3/4. This switch either routes the audio from 1+2 or 3+4 to that output. There is a similar switch for the first 10 outputs.
