The signal keeps cutting out when I am using my VoiceMaster Pro. What can I do?

The first thing to check is that all cables are in good order and that the connector soldering is not faulty. Try recording with different sources (mics, guitars, line sources) to eliminate the possibility of the recording source having a fault and to see if the problem occurs with all three inputs to the unit. Also ensure that the input on the receiving device is not faulty by connecting a different source to it. Make sure all processing on the VoiceMaster Pro is switched out when you test. After doing these tests you should have a good idea of if the VoiceMaster Pro is causing the signal to cut out or not. If you suspect it is then please use our on-line contact form to let us know what you tested so that we can advise you further.

article Why can I still hear signal from my mic when the gain is set to minimum?
Do not worry - this is normal behaviour. Note that for mic inputs the input gain range is +13 to +60 dB. This means that when the knob is fully left the signal still has 13dB of gain applied to...
