Focusrite are proud to announce their sponsorship of the International Producer award at the 2010 MPG Awards, to be held at the Café de Paris in central London in February.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Focusrite Managing Director Phil Dudderidge said, "I am delighted that Focusrite is able to sponsor the International Producer Award at this year's MPG Awards, which are a great way to celebrate the Art of Record Production." 

At last year's inaugural awards, producers including Brian Eno, Bernard Butler and Paul Epworth were recognised for their contribution to music production, while artists Duffy, Calvin Harris and Jack Penate were in attendance to show support and appreciation for their production team.

The Awards were set up to celebrate the creative talent and technical ability of the UK’s music producers, engineers, mixers and re-mixers. The awards are linked to the BRITs through collaboration with the BPI, which helps to affirm the role of the producer to the wider audience of music consumers.
