Available to view on the Focusrite booth will be numerous artifacts that chart the history of the company. Among these will be an ISA110 channel strip signed by Sir George Martin, to represent the pinnacle of Focusrite's audio heritage. The ISA110 was the main input section of the Forté and Studio consoles made by the British company during the ʼ80s and ʼ90s. Itʼs so representative of the Focusrite sound that parts of its design can be found in current products, such as the ISA One, the ISA430 MkII and the new ISA428 MkII.
Also on display will be now-discontinued units from Focusriteʼs Red, Green and Platinum ranges, which offer a fascinating insight into the development of the professional audio industry, as well as Focusrite's ability to adapt to the needs of the recording professional. The gear will be on show at the Moscone Center between the 5th and 7th November. If you do not already have tickets for the event, Focusrite welcome you to register for your free Exhibits-only badge.
