New Additions to the Focusrite Family!


Focusrite has pulled out all the stops to unveil its new class-leading Firewire interface at AES. The Saffire Pro 40 will be on show for the first time alongside Liquid Mix HD, and a relaunch of the Forté Suite of plug ins that brought the legendary Focusrite Forté console sound to Protools HD.
Focusrite's most senior figures including CEO Phil Dudderidge are in San Francisco to oversee the launch of the long awaited Saffire PRO 40, which represents the new generation of Focusrite multi-channel firewire audio interfaces. Eight award-winning Focusrite pre-amps form the basis of the Pro 40, bringing the un-rivalled legacy of Focusrite pre's to a new standard of precision and control. Legendary sonic performance is combined with the very latest in firewire interfacing technology to deliver seamless integration, excellent routing flexibility and future-proof, rock-solid driver stability. The Pro 40 will retail at £349.99.
Liquid technology has until now, been available in the form of the Liquid Channel, Liquid Mix and Liquid Mix 16. This ground-breaking convolution technology has now been developed as a software plug-in exclusively for Pro Tools HD.Liquid Mix HD provides an unrivalled amount of classic compression and EQ emulations, seamlessly integrated into the Pro Tools HD environment and will retail at £299.99. Focusrite are proud to announce they are taking over distribution of the Forté Suite. The relaunch will see the Forté Suite bringing Focusrite’s sonic signature to Pro Tools through sophisticated modelling of the ISA110 EQ and ISA130 dynamics processors, the key modules from the acclaimed Focusrite Forté analogue console. It includes surround modes as well as graphical representations of EQ, compression, and related module curves. The GUIs closely resemble the ISA series modules, treasured by audiophiles the world over. The Forte Suite will be on sale for £249.99.
