Senior Hardware Development Engineer | High Wycombe | Permanent APPLY
We are looking for an experienced hardware developer to join our small design team, to work on a variety of projects.

Reporting directly to the R&D Manager, you'll help to specify, design and implement new products.  You'll evaluate new technologies, implement and refine those we currently use, and release exciting new products for both brands.

Any candidate must have:

• At least ten years experience in a commercial electronics design and development environment
• Proven experience in the design of analogue, digital and mixed systems - ideally from an audio background, but other mixed signal environments (such as instrumentation) will be equally considered
• Expertise in implementing high performance analogue to digital and digital to analogue conversion sub-systems
• Familiarity with designing digitally controlled analogue systems
• Experience in regulatory (EMC) testing


Experience in any of these would be a bonus:

• Cadstar schematic capture and PCB layout
• Familiarity with Xilinx FPGAs
• Design for manufacture techniques
• Writing either Mac and/or Windows host applications (for test purposes)
• Use of audio test equipment (Prism dScope) and writing of test procedures
• Development and implementation of DSP algorithms

Role Overview
This role is based around monitoring interaction and providing a point of contact for all communications with online communities, both our own and 3rd parties.

Role description
The Online Community Coordinator will operate alongside key personnel in all departments within the company to coordinate these communications. This would include administrating the company’s own forum, as well as coordinating the company’s response to 3rd party forums.

The Online Community Coordinator will also handle the coordination of marketing activities based around social networking sites as they relate to the pro audio and music making markets.

On occasion, this individual may assist in the presentation of the brands at external events, both in the UK and abroad

Core role responsibilities
Social Media Monitor (monitoring of social media (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) and dissemination of relevant threads to relevant personnel and posting the reply accordingly, monitoring and reporting of social analytics, copywriting and monitoring of advertisement on the Facebook Platform, keeping up-to-date with the latest social media marketing tools and familiarization with new channels of communication)
Buzz Building (actively seek out information to post online, adapting marketing messages into small snippets with a community tone to post on Twitter, Facebook and forums, engaging our audience by starting conversations with the community and maintaining interaction)
Forum Coordinator (monitoring of company forum, summarizing and flagging important threads for tech support)
Content Identification (search extensively through YouTube videos that will aid the marketing and sales of our product and add them to respective brand channel's favorite list of videos)
Tradeshow assistance (assist in the presentation of brands at trade shows, locally and abroad. )


Abilities and experience required
• Knowledge of the main social media platforms and the way in which people interact with them
• Keen interest in both music and modern marketing
• Passion to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self motivated but keen to work as a team
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work on multiple projects at one time

Job Profile
• Listen to the market and articulate the market problems in the form of requirements for the product development, sales and marketing teams.

Junior Software Development Engineer | High Wycombe | Permanent APPLY
We are looking for a junior developer to join our growing team, to work on a variety of projects across our product range. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in user-interface development, application software, embedded systems, kernel-mode drivers, DSP and many other exciting areas.

You'll help us to build software and hardware products, participate in the design process, write, review, document and maintain code, and work with the test and customer support teams as we develop new products.

Additionally, you'll help us maintain our existing portfolio, and contribute your own ideas and working practices. You'll need to be able to pick up unfamiliar technologies, read and understand lots of code, estimate the risks associated with new features and maintenance tasks, and find your way around a number of third party products.

Over time, you'll find areas in which you excel, and you'll have plenty of opportunity to develop further!

An ideal candidate should have:
